Anthony Short is the leader of Boelter’s Washington D.C. Foodservice Design office. With over 20 years of experience, he has had a distinguished career and serves as an excellent resource for our customers in the East. With excellent project management skills and an eye for detail, he specializes in large volume commercial kitchen renovation and equipment replacement. His portfolio includes projects in the White House, the Pentagon, CIA Headquarters, FBI, the State Department, military bases, correctional facilities, and hospitals.
Anthony says, “Logistics and planning allow for smooth flow of installation when you are dealing with high-security facilities.”
He grew up in Great Britain where his family was in the hotel and restaurant business. As a member of the Royal Air Force, he was an air traffic controller and an operations officer. This has turned out to have been great training for understanding the complicated environment of commercial kitchen design and equipment installation.
