Rick Grabinger is a Project Manager in Boelter’s Minneapolis Office. He has spent the last 25 years designing and project managing incredible commercial kitchens for independent restaurants, hotels, multi-unit chains, and government facilities. Highly regarded in the industry, his experience enables him to work comfortably with Foodservice Consultants, Owners, Operators, and Chefs.
Rick loves the initial design phases of each project, from working with kitchen staff to getting creative with equipment size, placement, and custom fabrication. He is fascinated by making efficient use of space and labor. His innovative kitchen footprints and equipment layouts support imagination on menus, in production, and in service. In the end, Rick’s goal is to allow the staff to work efficiently in the kitchen while providing every customer an unforgettable experience.
Rick spent 22 years in the Army National Guard and retired as a Major. He has degrees in Business Administration and Graphic Arts. When he’s not designing the perfect kitchen, he enjoys woodworking.
