As a Boelter Project Manager, Velvet McConnell specializes in kitchen and facility design, as well as equipment bidding and installation. She works with multiple foodservice market segments, including K-12 schools, universities, hospitals, corporate cafeterias, and restaurants.
Velvet has been in the foodservice industry since 1995, and a member of the Boelter team since 2009. A 22-year foodservice veteran, she has experience across much of the industry. Her training and work as an AutoCAD Operator and a Project Coordinator remind her every day that all commercial kitchen operations have a unique set of challenges. Watching a job evolve from start to finish and looking on as each customer’s excitement grows is what Velvet enjoys most about her work.
Velvet has completed kitchen and cafeteria projects for Drake Hubbell Dining Hall, Mason City High Schools, Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, and many more. A graduate of Des Moines Community College, in her time off she likes camping and motorcycle rides.
